Based in South Riding, Protego Transport provides both local and long-distance assisted transportation throughout Northern Virginia. Protego Transport was founded by two established professionals, Manraj Gill and Kabir Hanjra, in response to the region’s rapid demographic shift. Northern Virginia’s senior population is projected to grow by more than 75% between 2010 and 2030, ultimately representing 15% of the area’s total population. Recognizing this growing demand, Manraj and Kabir saw the critical need for dependable, accessible transportation tailored to seniors and individuals with mobility limitations.

Our dispatchers receive extensive instruction on using integrated systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
