Max Care Service is a non-emergency medical transportation provider based in San Antonio, Texas, and proudly serving area seniors, hospitals, and facilities throughout Bexar and surrounding counties since 2019.
Owned and operated by a hardworking entrepreneur, Phillip Kim, the goal of Max Care is to provide a more reliable, timely, and readily available assisted transportation solution for area seniors and facilities. Recognizing the senior population in Austin and throughout Bexar County is only continuing to grow in size and demand, it wasn’t difficult to determine the opportunity and sustainability in launching this unique and much needed service.
Unlike other providers operating as a curb-to-curb service, Max Care is committed to safely escorting patients and residents from their residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and ADA-compliant wheelchair accessible vehicle. On arrival at the destination, a trained staff member will escort you or a loved one to check-in.
In performing thousands upon thousands of successful transports since 2019, and in leveraging years of experience in serving community seniors, families, and facility staff, Max Care has become a trusted transportation solution. Rather than focusing exclusively on volume and profits, Max Care is keenly focused on providing exceptional and timely customer service with the compassion you and your loved ones deserve.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
